Overseas Exchange Visit (Hong Kong) - Nov 26 - Dec 2
Two Secondary 3 Level cadets from NCDCC will be selected to participate in this trip to Hong Kong. Nomination would be preceded with a short interview to allow the maximum benefits from the exchange with the Hong Kong Cadets. The interview will be early October. Please note that the interview would be scheduled lasting approximately 15 mins each.
Cadets who are sent on the trip would be expected to co-pay the amount and the rest subsidised by the Ministry of Education. This amount would be made known to the cadets during the interview. Cadets would also be expected to prepare a presentation after the trip for their schools to allow a transference of knowledge and sharing of experience to their fellow cadets
Closing date : 29 September 2010
Please look for me if you are interested. Take note that the cadet will be representing our school and the selection will be based on the cadet's ability to share their experience and knowledge after the trip.

This info is for the 4 cadets going for UDI Selection course.
Date: 28th Aug 2010
Timing: Shift B, 1330hrs – 1800hrs
Location: Home Team Academy
Please report at 1.15pm.
Attire
All participants are required to wear Field Dress (No. 4), with beret and badges. The uniform must be properly ironed and starched. No highlighting of hair is allowed. Boots are to be kept clean and properly maintained. For males, hair should be of the natural colour and kept short, not touching the ears or shirt collar. For females, the hair is to be tied neatly.

OBS Singapore - IMPORTANT
This annoucement is for Aloysius, Sofia and Istiana.
Deadline for submission of the Course Registration Form:
Course 1: 16 Aug (Aloysius)
Course 2: 30 Aug.
Course Registration Form must be submitted together with a copy of the Birth Certificate.
A Medical Checkup must be scheduled by YOU with a General Practitioner (GP) who is to complete Part 4 and 5 of the form.
Aloysius: Checkup to be done by 12 Aug.
Sofia and Istiana: Checkup to be done AFTER 19 Aug and BEFORE 26 Aug. (Note: Please do not do the checkup too early)
Please ensure you have a tetanus immunisation jab, and the doctor must indicate FIT or UNFIT on the form. Please also bring along Page 8 of the Course Registration Kit for the doctor.

4th UDI Course Selection Test
Prior to the actual course, there will be a UDI selection test for interested participants on 28th August 2010. The purpose of this selection is to ensure that cadets going for the UDI Course possess excellent footdrill standards and are able to successfully teach footdrill to their units in future.

All participants must undergo medical checks and declare their medical status through the Outward Bound Singapore Registration Forms. The Outward Bound Singapore Medical Centre and the overseas centres must deem participants medically fit for the programme.
Please look through the programme first before deciding if you want to go for it.
